A very kind friend went to Japan and got me a Ninja Star, which is meant to be for HIM. On my way to Manila, I brought it with me--in my purse. Let me point out that it could not, in any way, cause injury (unless some genius decides to swallow it, and even then, it would most likely get stuck in his throat).
When my handbag was scanned the security officer inquired about that ninja star shape. I took it out of my bag to show him. I thought he would say that it is cleared, but instead, he said "Please stay here, I have to check on this item". I politely said that I would wait.
A few minutes passed by and the security officer came back with two, more senior looking officers and one of them was re-inspecting my ninja star. It was as if my star was being escorted back to me.
When they reached me, they handed me my star and advised that it had been cleared.
I'm happy about two things, one is that these people are doing their jobs and the other is that the verdict for my ninja star's trial was, not guilty.
