house pours
Three years ago there was a party that we organised at a friend's house. He had everything, but a pitcher. Kristine obliged, and brought one for us. During closing time, the pitcher was washed, dried and put into a paper bag so she can take it back. She said she would leave it in the house until he leaves Singapore.
He was here for two years.
The pitcher was well used, I must say.
Somehow, it was never returned.
Lost forever. Not unlike a drunken missed call.

Between Tink's never ending fever, RN's coke light craze, Farnie people's habits and healthe games, there doesn't seem to be any opportunity for house parties anymore.
It had been months since I was at a house party mixing drinks. I missed that.
Kristine once again, obliged. Almost.

Last night, I found myself with another pitcher.
"What is essential is invisible to the eye..."
I don't think any other pitcher will be like the one, but life goes on.

I.LOVE.
While sipping Riesling with a good friend, we started keeping each other up to date with recent happenings. It had been a while since we last hung out. Loads of nonsense--or what would mean nothing to the rest of the world, but would mean something to your good friends. These things, I will not write about.
There is one thing though.
A movie.
A movie I recommended him to watch. I did tell him (and his girlfriend) that it is a movie that is better seen alone or with someone other than your significant other. That would take something away. As they are both intelligent people, I left it at that.
He admitted that it took him weeks until he decided to give the movie a go.

Now, THAT is a genius line.
I don't think I have to explain where or when that line would fit, because if are someone who would appreciate, it only means that you know.
Now why is it genius?
I <-- this denotes ownership. never vague. clear. personal. very personal.
LOVE <-- aha! the magic word. the key word. the word that crumbles walls.
US <-- a term that refers to myself and another individual, you.

I don't know about you, but I feel stressed looking into these photos. The thought of a giant bird looking at me freaks me out. Wuss.

"accessories"
Like cars, electronics or even clothes, scooters also come with accessories. With a scooter, one might expect to get reflectors, side mirrors, skirts, shoe guards, maybe even a helmet.
Who would have guessed that they'd offer built in gloves.

preparing for christmas
I knew the end of the year is coming, but not until last week did I realize that it will be December in a few days.
Orchard had been lit up earlier this year, I guess it was for APEC. Needless to say, it was a glaring reminder of the season. While Singaporeans don't really celebrate Christmas, their country's decorations are quite the opposite.
As I had done quite a bit of Christmas shopping already, I thought I'd get wrappers and ribbons so that I could little by little wrap presents.
I was too excited about a certain wrapper--only because it looked like something that would be used to wrap chocolate, that I started wrapping as soon as I got home.
I managed to wrap everything on hand!
(Tonight, I'll write my Christmas list and make plans to finishing everything before the 7th.)

november hair
It is that time of the quarter again when I get my haircut. I promised someone I'd post a photo, so this is me keeping my promise.
As this really doesn't show much of my hair--instead showcases the bathroom tiles, I am posting another photo. This time, it really shows my new hair.
If I show you a photo of the hair I wanted, you would realize that it looks worlds apart from my now hair. My stylist said that my hair is still too short so it won't fall the way I want it to. HOWEVER, as it grows, it would fall more and more the way that I want :)
