last burger--of the year

It has been years since I last had one of this.Thank you 2009.

I promised a friend we would makan what Singapore boasts of.

It isn't even halfway through December but today will be the last time I would be seeing Kristine this year. It has been an interesting but definitely happy year for her and it is not about to end post climax. I think there were times when I had been too much of a cynic but I hope that she knows that I meant well. Next year we will be working in the same building and I look forward to eating with a familiar face every now and then as I had been spending my lunch hour in front of my laptop the last few weeks.

Kristine, next year will be OX. Hahahahahaha.

massacre

Dinner started innocently enough, cream of corn soup, afritada, rice and some Shiraz. Halfway through, my brother had one of his bright ideas. Spanish sardines and taba ng talangka with calamansi were brought out from the kitchen.

Imagine.

As I imagine my food intake, one word comes to mind.

You guessed right.

Massacre.

Nice work.

cookie talaga!

After a large pork rib and prawn noodle, rojak and a large lime juice, I swore I was full to the brim and could last until my 8 pm yoga class. I could. Seriously.

But (here it goes!) I started to crave at 2:30.

And it went on till 4:15.

This was when I decided to give in.

I went down to grab some brownies. The store I had it mind no longer carried brownies. I got cookies instead. Three cookies.

I got back to my cubicle and pinched on one.

I guess at this point you would know the ending of this entry.

Not that it needs to be said, but I pinched my way to the very last cookie.

I will burn in hell.
