It was the song. I guess what made this movie a hit was the song. Watching it in fact, got me thinking about my piano lessons. More like the piano lessons I stopped taking.

I would say that it makes a so much better play than movie, HOWEVER, I seriously think that with today's liberties as far as language and physical intimacy go, a remake would be spectacular.
